Så fik jeg svaret på min forespøgsel vedr. tidspunktet : 18 til 20.00:
Her er de to mails som jeg fik fra ambassadens sekretæren:
Dear Khun Lung Yao,
The ceremony/reception will take place from 06.00 – 20.00 only as it will be a solemn ceremony.

Dear Khun Lung Yao,
The Embassy will provide food for guests in a buffet style…free soft drink, no alcohol, at least 3 classical dances and performances, light candle ceremony to celebrate the King’s birthday and sing the hymn in his honour together. That is why it is a short ceremony and it is not for entertainment purpose…it is the gathering of Thais and families to show love, respect for the King and Thailand
