You have met a Thai lady on internet wish to go see her and maybe marry according to Thai traditions you will have to pass the family Dowry system ( money paid to them for marrying their daughter) Then you will have to deal with visa agencies roaming around embassy to get your business and all majors cities in Thailand such as Pattaya , Phuket, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen promising you pre approved visa as fiancée or tourist there is no such things as pre approved visa agencies like www.easyvisanow.com or www.tslvisaworld.com are very expensive price can vary according the job you have and very often they will overcharge you on your credit card under pretext they forgot medical or police report when it is included in the regular price some have website for dating Thai ladies just in order to get Dowry from you since they sign contract obligating the lady to pay them up to 40% commission .
If you wish to marry in Thailand I strongly suggest to make all procedures by yourself it is very easy and doesn’t cost anything except translation of some paper such as divorce widow certificate in Thai , no agency can get your visa in a faster way that if you do it yourself and have complete control of it.
Never if you use a agency give your credit card number or if you do be certain you are with the person who make the transaction this way they cannot keep your number in file to overcharge afterward like I have seen in many instance , I have work with some agency in Bangkok live in Thailand for 3 year and they are all the same liar cheater and very money hungry Thus do it yourself or hire a LAWYER IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY price will be the same and at least you will get details on the procedure.
