A classic Thai tale:
My wife was giving one of her older brothers a ride to the bus station. His visit had come to an end; and yes, of course, she paid for his ticket.
Along the way, he suddenly yelled, "Stop! Stop!! Ya!!!"
Ponra thought his hat had jumped off his head - NO.
He jumped off the scooter and very quickly, with intense determination, ventured back to the edge of the road where to men were standing. A big snake had been run over.
He snatched up the snake, wrapped it up like a spool of wire and returned to the motocy , "Let's go!"
My wife DOES NOT like snakes! It was still bleeding out. She begged him to throw it away.
"No! Make very good soup. Take home on bus."
And that, my friends, is a Thai version of carrion luggage.
