Thailand går over til nye 10 ciffres numre til mobil i september Til alle dere som har Thai mobiltelefon! Alle mobilnummer vil få prefiks 08. For eksempel vil de nummer som har 01 få 081 xxx xxxx. Du kan fortsatt ringe de gamle numre frem til slutten av november, men etter det må du bruke de nye numrene. Den nye nummerplanen vil øke kapasiteten fra 90 millioner nummer til 300 millioner. for at ringe til en mobil i danmark fra thailand hvad skal man sætte forand som det er nu solmand 
Thailand er et godt sted at tag til.og de har dejlige søde kvinder men næsten umulige at få herop pga vores defekte lovgivning.............

They have until Nov 30 to upgrade the cards, or they will not be able to receive incoming calls. Market leader Advanced Info Service (AIS) said its customers can upgrade their SIM cards via www.ais.co.th/10d... Alternatively, they can have their cards updated at 600 AIS shops and 200 mobile caravans in communities in remote areas. DTAC customers can get their numbers updated at 23 DTAC service halls and 312 shops countrywide. Those using Symbian phones can update their cards themselves at www.dtac.co.th or www.happy.co.th and download the ''Add 8'' programme. They can also call the 1678 DTAC call centre or send an SMS to 7099. A total of 32 million mobile phone users, both pre-paid and post-paid, will have to add an 8 in the middle of the existing two-digit prefix to make mobile-to-mobile calls. Numbers starting with 01, 09 and 06 will become 081, 089 and 086. International calls made to local mobile numbers will also have to add 8 after the country code, followed by the one-digit prefix and seven-digit number. For mobile-to-fixed line calls, numbers will not change. After today all new mobile subscribers, both pre-paid and post-paid, will be put on the 10-digit system. |

denne sakset fra THAIVISA.com Thailand's mobile phones now 10-digit numbers - total confusion BANGKOK (thaivisa.com): Last night Thailand's mobile operators changed all Thai mobile numbers from 9-digits to 10-digits numbers. The 9-digit based system will be intact until November 30, to make it easy for the customers. But you don't need to do anything to continue to call out and receive calls, but you will need to edit your own phone book to include the extra "8" digit for Thai mobile phones. A lot of confusion has occured because of conflicting information in the media. So here is the lowdown: 1. You do NOT need to visit any AIS, DTAC or True etc. service centre! 2. Your mobile number currently works with both the old number and the new number (until Nov 30, 2006): Example: If your old number was, for example: 01-5432109 your new number is now 081-5432109. Both will work until November 30, 2006 so no worries. 3. You propably have a lot of Thai mobile numbers stored in your mobile or SIM-card. You are advised to manually change all Thai mobile numbers to include the "8" as in the example above. (You can of course visit your mobile shop to do this for you, but it's not mandatory.) 4. Number presentation (CLID): You might not yet see the new "8" when someone is calling you from another Thai mobile, but it may work within a few weeks. 5. Soon you will receive a SMS message from your mobile provider to change your SMS settings to include the extra "8" in your phone setting for "SMS Service Centre", but you can leave that for the next few weeks. 6. Please inform you international phone friends and collegues of the new situation.
