Regional Golf Tournament Competition: Thailand – Malaysia – Singapore 4 – 5 November 2006 – President Golf & Country Club, Bangkok , Thailand Background Since the late 1980s Scandinavian golfers from Thailand , Malaysia and Singapore have gathered to pit their skills in the Regional Golf Tournament. The competition is played as a combined Stableford and Match Play between the Scandinavian communities in Singapore , Malaysia and Thailand. Founding competition members such as Par Hollertz ( Thailand ) and Torgny Sandberg ( Malaysia ) are still actively participating. SEB Private Banking has sponsored the Tournament since 1997. Thailand is this years defending Champion – and we hope that many people will take this opportunity coming to Bangkok for both a nice round of Golf and social networking with fellow Scandinavians from the neighboring countries. SSS Golf - SAS Cup, November 11th + "Morning After", November 12th. Dear fellow Scandinavian Golfers, We are very pleased to invite you to one of our majors – the prestigious SAS Cup. The good and lucky plauers will again this year have the change to win some spectacular prizes, which includes trips to Scandinavia ion SAS’ friendly and pleasant Airbus A340. We will play the A and B Championship course at Burapha Golf & Country Club. We have closed the whole course and will have shot gun start at 11:30. This means that all players will go to their respective assigned holes and tee off simultaneously upon the “shot gun bang”. There will be two groups on par 4 and 5 holes. If you have not yet signed up, then please visit www.zabaigolf.com. Deadline for registration is Saturday, November 4th, 2006. You can also at the same time sign up to “Morning After” golf, which will be played Sunday morning at the same course (tee off at 8:00). You might take this opportunity to stay in the Pattaya area during the weekend. If required (let is know in advance during the registration) then we will arrange transport Burapha to Amari on Saturday evening and Amari to Burapha Sunday morning. We have booked (and closed) the whole golf course exclusively for this SAS Cup. As we pay a fixed fee, then the individual participation fee depends on the number of golfers. However, we expect it will be around THB 2,200.00, which includes greenfee, 50 % golf cart share and caddie fee. It is mandatory to use golf carts on the course. You can of course still opt to walk down the fairway and let the caddie drive for you…… Two players will share a car in each flight – if you want your own – then you can just pay an additional THB 600. We will open the registration at 9.00 and we recommend that you come early – as we expect more than 100 golfers (40 golfers have already signed up). Briefing and welcome will be at 10:45.
