Er der nogen her der har prøvet at tage sin hund med til Thailand ? Vil gerne høre om, hvordan det er blevet gjort og om hvordan man nemmest klarer det... |

Jeg ville ikke gøre det hvis jeg var dig, du får et kæmpe arbejde med den. Ok hvis du skal flytte dertil er det noget andet, men er det på ferie så ville jeg ikke tage den med. |

Taking Fido on flights abroad We will be relocating from to Thailand to Kathmandu, Nepal, and we have a pet dog that we would like to take with us. We will be flying out of Phuket on a Thai Airways flight with a connecting flight in Bangkok. What are the procedures for bringing our dog with us? Monday, January 22, 2007 Sindhu Lim, Phuket. “To import a pet to Nepal, all that is required is for the pet’s owner to show a certificate issued by a veterinarian in Thailand confirming that the animal is free of diseases. The owner must show this certificate when the pet arrives at the Animal Quarantine Office at the airport in Kathmandu.” Monday, January 22, 2007 K. Paras, an officer of the Nepalese embassy in Bangkok. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Thai Airways also requires a certificate of clean health, and the Phuket Animal Quarantine Station at Phuket International Airport must issue this certificate. Once this is done, you must call us at the Thai Airways reservation desk and inform us of the certificate number at least three days before your flight. When you check in, if your dog’s weight plus the cage (which must be provided) is less than 10 kilograms, then the dog can be loaded into the cabin. But if your dog plus the cage is heavier than 10kg or if the cage is bigger than 55cm x 37cm x 30cm, then the dog must be loaded in the hold, and we will charge you for the excess weight. Alternatively, you can have your dog flown by a cargo company, which will still require the certificate issued by the quarantine station. Cargo companies that deliver pets include Pasco (Tel: 076-238824-6), Sky Trade (Tel: 076-351329) T&M (Tel: 076-351474), and Thai Airways Cargo (Tel: 07-6351306).” Monday, January 22, 2007 Angkhana Damrongchua, of the Thai Airways International Reservation Desk. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “To be issued the certificate, you must bring your dog to the Phuket Animal Quarantine Station with the following documents: 1. Dog’s medical history book that shows all vaccinations the animal has had since it was born. 2. Blood test result or health certificate from a veterinarian who works at pet clinic or pet hospital. 3. Proof of a rabies vaccination at least 30 days before its departure. 4. The owner’s passport (the passenger who will be transporting the dog). 5. A “dog passport”, available at the Phuket Livestock Office. To get this you must present the Livestock Office with the health certificate and a photo of the dog. 6. Microchip and microchip number (you can request this from your vet). 7. Any pedigree certification for your dog. The Animal Quarantine Station will check all documents and your dog’s health and then issue the certificate for you to show to the airline. The owner must finish the entire process at least three days before departure.” Monday, January 22, 2007 Kittima Thepabutr, an officer at the Phuket Animal Quarantine Station. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “We need to check the resistance of rabies in the dog’s blood. This is very important, especially if the dog will go to European countries or Japan. The rabies vaccine must be administered at least 30 days before departure. So if you want to take your dog to another country, you must bring in its vaccination record to the vet clinic; there the vet can double check the dog’s health and issue a certificate of clean health. Det nemmeste for dig er at kontakte Spirit Cargo (sas cargo) 32323232 og bede om at tale med Trust (det er sas cargo´s speditions afd i Kastrup) de kan fortælle dig det hele , men som hovedregel skal du have : import licence veterinær certificater fra dyrlæge , blodprøver vaccinationer mm samtidig skal der udfyldes en masse andre dokumenter men det kan de fortælle dig derude - alle dokumenter på engelsk selvfølgelig.... ellers må du spørge igen så vil jeg prøve at finde ud af det..... Flyver SQ til SIN og BKK - altid! ;-)

Hej ! Vi har selv haft en hund med fra Danmark og det eneste krav der var , at den var vaccineret og et hundepas og saa betalte vi 280 kroner pr. kilo for overvaegt inkl. transportkasse. |

Det er noget andet når den kun skal een vej...de skal have en import licens for live animals når det er permanent....mit råd ; check med thai Air og Trust...så er du i goé hænder.... Flyver SQ til SIN og BKK - altid! ;-)
